The day was sunny and the weather was warm. In otherwords, it was exactly what Crystal and Mark had been hoping for their wedding day. After all, they were planning an outdoors wedding at the nearby Dorey Park, and they wanted it to go off without a hitch.
The bridal party was preparing in a nearby hotel, and the mood was calm. Crystal and her ladies moved with a purpose and they couldn’t have been more excited to be celebrating this ocassion. Mark and his groomsmen did not move with quite as much urgency, but that was absolutely not an indication of the complete joy Mark was feeling as he prepared to meet his bride. He was smitten with Crystal, and he had no reason to be nervous. He had been waiting for this day for a long time, and he couldn’t wait for the moments to come.
The bride and her bridesmaids made their way to the ceremony location in a white, stretch limosine. The ceremony site was draped in white tulle and looked magnificent. It was simple and elegant, and it was a perfect representation of the love that Crystal and Mark share. The couple had met on the water, and they share a love for boats and scuba diving, and all related things. It was only right that the ceremony took place on a gazebo jetting out into a lake. Crystal looked stunning in her strapless, detailed gown as she, on the arm of her father, made her way across the wooden path to her groom. It was there, with a lake in the background and surrounded by an intimate group of friends and family that they pledged their forever.
The reception that followed at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center was full of laughter, dancing, and love. Crystal and Mark were gracious hosts as they made their way around the room trying to speak with each of their guests individually. Again, a perfect reflection of the people they are. Genuine. Kind. Thoughtful.
Crystal and Mark,
Your day was amazing. Everything obout it fell into place perfectly, and all the small touches that made it yours were fabulous. Your kindness and friendship throughout your engagement and wedding day have been a true pleasure, and I thank you sincerely for letting me walk down this path with you. I hope you are as in love with your images as I am and that they always make you feel the way you did that day.
You did good, Mark!
Crystal was eager to become Mrs. Wilson!
Crystal and Mark left ample time for post-ceremony photos to make sure we captured the special moments between them as husband and wife. This series of images is my fav. I think you will see why. Enjoy.
Happy Monday, friends!
